A lot of our friends have tried the coffee and with everybody’s help we now have the final product. The original blend was a stunning espresso with sweetness and great acidity. Very good as an espresso but too light with milk.

So now we have added a very small amount of a great single estate monsoon malabar which makes the coffee more balanced, gives it more body and makes it taste absolutely delicious in milk.

We are very happy with the final product ๐Ÿ™‚ And thanks to everybody for the feedback!

We will be using this alongside the Absolute Espresso with all barista training courses in Halifax.

I have written a few scripts that are useful for coffee shop owners. You can work out your profit marings, your selling price and the cost per espresso. Very easy to use and I hope it helps.

Howard, a friend of mine, came over today to have a play with the blend. He clearly loves his coffee and it was great to have him over for the feedback.

Seems like he really likes it or maybe he was just being polite ๐Ÿ™‚

Good to see that he picked the Premium Espresso out. He didn’t know which grinder had the Absolute Espresso and which one had the Premium Espresso. We extracted some very good shots and it seems to work especially well as a flat white and I am glad to see that the Premium Espresso works really well with milk. I think it has a really lovely aftertaste just making you want more.

The tests continue but we are on the good path ๐Ÿ™‚

Next step is to work with it for a while duringย  training courses and to send out to some friends who love coffee. If you would like a sample please drop me a line.
